Philosopher/Theologian Edward F. Sylvia, M.T.S. attended the School of Visual Arts in New York and received his Master of Theological Studies at the Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley, CA and a Certificate of Swedenborgian Studies from the Swedenborgian House of Studies. He is a member of the Center for Theology and the Natural Sciences (C.T.N.S.) and the Swedenborg Scientific Association (S.S.A.). Edward F. Sylvia attended the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, New York and went on to work for some of the world's largest advertising agencies in New York, Chicago and St. Louis. Sylvia also worked for several years at the Missouri Botanical Garden.
Today, he lives with his wife, Susan, on a ten acre "homestead" just outside of St. Louis, in southern Illinois. Edward is continually working on both his inner and outer gardens and has other writing projects in the works, including books, screenplays and a documentary.
